I have played countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still spent a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I don't win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 45 mins using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see gamble this way. Here is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager

Wager five dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original $40 bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up $315 !!

It's hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can't deviate and drop your bet or the end result won't be the same.
