I have wagered on countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at vingt-et-un. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you're hot your on fire, and when you are not you're NOT!

I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had great runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you notice wagering this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 bet

Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80

Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 bet

If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn't alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
