black jack is a game that reminds me of a rollercoaster. It's a game that kicks off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you are not expecting it, the bottom falls out.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a wild ride the similarities are frightening. As is the case with the popular fair ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for a time before it bottoms out one more time. You have to be a player that will be able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game mainly because the game of black jack is packed full of them.

If you like the small coaster, a coaster that won't go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the coaster ride is with a much bigger bet, then hop aboard for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that is just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.

If you do not, you will not necessarily remember how much you enjoyed the view while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an awesome ride and your head in the sky. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won't find it easy to recollect how "high up" you went but you will remember that mortifying drop as clear as day.
