I have played millions of rounds of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of funds at 21. The gambling dens have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.

I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have wagered on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of streaks. When you're hot your hot, and when you are not you're NOT!

I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very exciting sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Atlantic City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar table.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $5 bet

Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 wager

Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original $80 wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your bet or the final result won't be the same.
